About Kate: I believe great photography is as timeless and as unique as you are. It's part art and part photojournalism and I would describe my style as casual, thoughtful, warm, and elegant.
I thrive on capturing real laughs and real love.

Our Kitchen

This is the second part of our home tour (part one was Our Bathroom). Today we're going to see our little kitchen. I call it the "galley" because it's about as big as our kitchen we had on our 38' sailboat! It's so tiny that the fridge is in the hallway adjacent to the kitchen!

I love the old stove and the glass front cabinets as well as the white tile. I know I swore off white tile in my bathroom post, but white tile on the counter is okay with me.

The counter space is limited so we only have the everyday essentials out on display. My favorite piece is the photo darkroom lab timer! My old office landlord gave it to me when he was cleaning out my studio neighbor's darkroom. Pretty bowls, the coffee maker, and plants are some of the other everyday necessities we see on the counter.
