I'm spending an inspiring and relaxing week in Athens and just got back from the Field Trip reception. Sisters Rinne Allen and Lucy Allen Gillis set up a pop-up holiday shop featuring their finds from their travels. As their site explains, it's "two sisters... wandering... exploring... photographing... taking notes… & gathering things along the way."

Easily comparable to a sweet, little Anthropologie, their items range from spoons, to ornaments, rugs and found sketches. Here are a few photos from the opening reception, which was a veritable who's-who in Athens. The shop is up now-December 24th at the Hawthorne House on Milledge Avenue.
