San Francisco Wedding Photographer :: Susan & Ted part 3

Welcome to the last part of Susan & Ted's Legion of Honor wedding- the Reception!! After the ceremony and family, we had some time for portraits. I shot a ton of photos in 6 minutes (a record for me!!). The reception room was gorgeous! Thank you, Chestnut & Vine Floral Design for making the room gorgeous and thanks to Jane Hammond Events for all the delicious food. I really loved that all the tables were named after Beatles' songs! In place of a guest book, Susan & Ted's guests wrote sweet notes on vintage typewriters! Susan also made jars of apple butter for everyone!

After cake, we were treated to ice cream and cookies- a big win in my book.

To cap the night off, everyone piled into a bus & limo and went to the Tonga Room. How else would you want to end a San Francisco wedding?! What a fun night. Cheers to a lifetime of happy memories, Susan & Ted!

San Francisco Wedding Photographer :: Susan & Ted part 2

Welcome to part 2 of our wedding adventure. If you missed the getting ready pictures from part 1, go check 'em out... I think they're lovely. Susan & Ted are lovely! And they get all married up in this next part of our story! They'd originally planned on a wedding on the lawn at the Legion of Honor, but due to bad weather, it was moved inside to the auditorium. It was warm, dry, and full of love!

Susan made her aisle decorations from fresh rosemary and they really smelled wonderful. It was a perfect ceremony and it's always a treat to see brides just go with it when things don't go as they'd planned. Susan was a superstar :)

I'll post the portraits and reception in the next installment! Enjoy! Let me know what you think!

San Francisco Wedding Photographer :: Susan & Ted part 1

I'm so excited about this wedding! Susan & Ted were the super awesome winners of last year's giveaway contest! Susan and her girls got ready in an amazing suite at the Fairmont. I just snapped away while Susan got all gussied up! I think her Calvin Klein shoes and she's a super star rockin' the low veil!

After the girls got ready, we met in the lobby to take a few family portraits. The lighting was perfect, despite the rain.

I have a lot of photos to share from their big day, so stay tuned, my loves!

Married!! Meg and Max in Seattle

I had the supreme privilege of spending Labor Day weekend in Seattle with Meg & Max to photograph their wedding!! I got to shoot the rehearsal dinner right on Lake Union at Agua Verde, the wedding at University of Washington Botanic Gardens, and the Sunday boat ride with Argosy Cruises! We couldn't have asked for better weather... it was PERFECT!! Thank you, Seattle!

Meg and Max are absolutely adorable and super fun to be with. They're wildly creative, sincere, and so genuinely happy and in love. Their vows seriously made me cry. They were heartfelt and emotional, and it is clear that Meg & Max mean the world to each other!

Their wedding was so much fun and full of unique details! The bride's sister drew a tree for everyone to sign, umbrellas scattered (cute! and useful just in case it rained!), and Meg made button-ieres for the special dudes of the day! Meg got her crocheted dress on ebay for (I think) $25 and it fit perfectly!!! Meg and her friends made adorable & tiny party hats (a-la royal wedding). The mother of the bride, Monika, picked up all the flowers from Pikes Place market for $75. The whole wedding!! How do you florists make a living in Seattle?!?! Meg's mom also crocheted the huppah for the ceremony! One of Meg's friends, Chrissie, hung an old window frame and it was instantly a great mini-photobooth!! Totally brilliant, Chrissie! Skillet brought their food truck and cooked us up amazing gourmet comfort food! And Max made all the pies for the wedding. There were sparklers and square-dancing. It was literally jam-packed with awesomeness! There was much laughter and love and I'm lucky I could be there to celebrate with them.

Congrats to Meg & Max. I wish you happiness forever! Here are a few photos from the wedding.
